I am launching a music oriented website (about artist, reviews, rock music, etc) and was just wondering what would be the best affiliates program that I should join? Preferable an offer that lets members sign up for free rather than purchasing a product. I'm open to all suggestions however. Thanks
iTunes.com is alright, there's lots of registration music MP3 sites too, nothing that is free though I dont think except MPFree.com (free reg).
www.cyqo.com is an independent music site I am slowly pulling together. Right now I am paying 50 cents a band sign up, so if you get a band to sign up and upload music, set up a profile etc, your account gets credited 50 cents. Then the artist sets the song pricing, and affiliate makes around 25%. PM me if you are interested and let me know your username so i can keep an eye out for referrals, I have been moving slow on this site...sidetracked on a lot of different projects. Thanks, Mike
Please see http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=482820 I've got over 600,000 products in the database. Tons of music. If you can script on your site, we can set up landing pages that are automatically seeded to match the page they display on. Since all the products come from Amazon - you can imagine the selection. For a short period, I'm allowing people to use their own Amazon and eBay IDs and get paid 100% directly from the source (Amazon and CJ). PM for details...
Despite all the hoopa about MP3 and online downloads, BMG music is still one of the best converting programs for music. People love their CD offers.
Yes check out RealNetworks on ShareResults, they are one of my 5 Star clients. http://www.shareresults.com/local_affiliate_desc.php?mid=2083 Also another 5 Star Affiliate program is www.zZounds.com. It's a really good high paying musical instruments and DJ equipment affiliate program if you think your visitors are musicians too or into sound gear.
