What iS the best method to drive traffic to your website.?? Do we have to register at some websites that can / may send some traffic ? OR what are the alternate methods to get more traffic ?
by the way now google doesn't support bought links. so it seems it's gonna be so hard to get into google now. maybe social bookmarkting site is a good way to go.
targeted links from articles, blogs and best of all Press Releases. Make sure your site has real information that is unique and not spammy at all. Google will kick your but if you appear spammy,
Despite the hype - SMM is not for every market in reality. Our research has shown fairly poor results with SMM from a standpoint of conversions. They are generally not the 'buying' crowd. I would not jump on SMM without some due diligence as to what is truly can offer your individual site/business
I've been doing the social bookmarking thing lately and I have to agree. I'm seeing good increase in traffic, but bounce rate is up. Articles and PR? Trying these next
Buying traffic is not good, as very possibly you can get warning from google. I like free text ads erxchanges and free banner erxchanges as alternaive methods. Though it also needs a little traffic to earn ad exposures.
if you want to get good traffic in short time, adwords is the best solution for you but if you want continues traffic, you must get backlink with true anchor tect to your site. the second option will boost your search engines ranking
I agree with what gypsy said. Using stumbleupon as an example, we have done some testing on a few retail sites and while there is a surge in traffic when you stumble a page, the conversions are very poor.
If you want alot of traffic quickly then you will have to purchase it. If you want it freely, then there is no quick way of getting alot of traffic, but the more work you put in at trying to get traffic, by placing your link on other sites that allow it, the more traffic you will get overtime and it should also improve your SEO at the same time.
Sorry for my dumb question, trichnosis, but could you please tell what it is - 'backlink with true anchor tect' or just pass a link please to a topic about that. I really wonder. Thanks a lot.
