Can someone point me to a list of the best article companies to submit to? I am getting some hits from associated content (used them first because they pay you) but so far that is it. I am waiting for approval from ezinearticles and had to edit my author name. But what are the top 10 for search engine hits?

I have a list of about 20 or so places I submit to on a regular basis. Just click on my latest blog entry by my name. I think you'll find that most of your traffic will come from the top 3 directories but that the links from all the directories are nice! TxDon

I have a list of over 1500 article directories with updated (December 16, 2009) PageRank. The excel file also have other usefull information like the type of script (ArticleDashboard, ArticleMS, ArticleBeach, ArticleFriendly, Wordpress, Interspire, Custom Script, PHPLinkDirectory), if it requires Sign-up CAPTCHA, Log-in CAPTCHA etc. I have spent countless ours to clean up the list and wouldn't mind sharing it at very nominal cost of $99 USD. What, you want to give your articles away for free? I publish on a number of sites, make adsense and add links to my sites or associates' sites. The thought of any Tom, Dick or Harry helping themselves to content to make money off it and none going to the writer is sickening - they should put cheapskate notices on their sites. The site I make most from is in my signature link and a new site SnipSly.com is looking good - that pays 80% AdSense revenue. If you're interested I'll PM you my referral links to other sites I use. (PM me a request). You can publish your original articles on all of them and include links to your website. You can also write short link articles to all your site's urls. All the sites are free to join and if anyone does devalue your content by plagiarising it you can sue them under copyright laws. If they are using your content to generate AdSense income without your permission report them to Google and get them banned.
