    Nothing fancy is needed just get a good refurbished PC for a few hundred bucks.

    Apple is really good but for her I think sony Vaio or compaq. I have a toshiba laptop which really works well.     Doesn't do a lot of travelling but does need to cart it to and from work.

    Not the best environmental policy. :eek:

    No not all tech-y, but rather teach-y. All teachers in her school are being made to write up reports on computer even if they'd rather do them by hand.
