Best LAN games?

I am free of my exams and now I want to play some LAN games. Can you people tell me games to play with other people on internet?


I wanna play games like war games that one team attacks and other defend their territory.

 

Defcon. Defcon is definitely the way forward for you my friend. Very small install, challenging, tactical, just all round brilliant.
Although it takes some getting used to

 

Any first person shooter...

I think they all used to play Quake at my old office.

Looked good but I am more into GTA.

 

Counter-Strike the best LAN game AFAIK, you can also try DOTA (but I dont like it)
