Best Keyword Suggestion & Ranking Tool

Keyword Research is the most important thing for any SEO. I've been using Digital Point Keyword Suggestion Tool, but I don't think it is giving the correct result.

I would like to know the best keyword suggestion tool which is up to date or atleast that gives last month's data.

Moreover I do require information about keyword ranking tool too. The DP's tool shows 37 and when I manually check I do see the keyword at 14.

So I would like to know the best keyword suggestion and monitoring tool especially for Google.

I've already specified my bad experience with Digital Point's tool.

I use Google Adwords and Yahoo/Overture's own suggestion tools which seem to work for my websites really well.

I have also used wordtracker to see what are currently the hot topics.
