Hello, Ever since the keyword Planner replaced Keyword tool we all are having tough time in finding out most relevant keywords with search volumes. I want to know if there are any other free / paid keyword tools which can show search volume. Also few local rank checker tool would be really helpful for the SEO community. Thanks
I still use longtail pro by Spencer Haws and it still works great as they use the API from Google. The tool gives you a number of kws, plus you can upload your own and it will return the adwords CPC, the local searched and you can review the competition data for the top 10 ranked sites for the keyword very quickly and efficiently. I have no affiliation with them, I just use it. If you google long tail pro discount code in google you will find many coupons for 25-50% off of the software (normally $97), and there is also a warrior forum page that is selling a heavily discounted license key. ($17-$37)
New keywords planner sucks. I really recommend you Ultimate Niche Finder. It can generate hundreds of keywords and best of all, it can show the ranking difficulty.
I use Scrapebox almost everyday, it's good for all types of things like this including the rank checking. They have a premium ad-on for the rank checker which i think is an additional 10$ or so and really saves a lot of time. Plus you can load it up with the ip/proxy you want to check from
WebMeUp is a cool tool for checking local ranks. The tool's rank checking module lets you monitor your ranks across all major international and local search engines. With the tool you can also tweak a wide range of setting for local ranking check: e.g. search engine interface, country, language, state and city to check your site local ranks in. Pretty cool app.
Thank you for your valuable reply people, I will surely try out these new tools asap. While using keyword tools another question arises about the ranking difficulty/ competition etc. How much should we consider this factor while finalizing our keywords?
