What's the best Internet Marketing ebook? My buddy is looking to get into it, and Im so friggin tired of trying to teach him everything I know with him over my shoulder. I want to buy the best products out there so he can read them at his pace and have a fighting chance to make some money online. He wants e-books only. A few of my friends told me to let him check out the forums, but it would just take so much more time confirming and teaching him whats best and not best..So I figured, just give him an ebook and let him run with it. Thanks!!
I don't think an ebook would stop him from further questions. In fact, he'll probably ask more! Why not join a paid membership instead of a public forum filled with biased/misinformed information? He'll be able to ask all the questions he wants in a paid membership, plus learn all the right methods in Internet Marketing. How about: InternetMarketerSchool.com
I agree Seobook (or maybe Seo for Dummies as an alternative) would be a great start but it's not the end all. The best recommendation that you could make would be Make your content pre-sell. This free book deals with content as a whole and shows you how you can use it not only to make money but to make your SEO campaigns a lot easier. It's difficult trying to do SEO for a website that's nothing but an affiliate sales page. I also found a few bits of information out of the Rich Jerk and High Performance Affiliate Marketing. For one the Rich Jerk basically gives you a different view on affiliate marketing in general. I'm not saying it's a great book but it definitely took a lot of the mystery out of affiliate marketing. You don't really have to be an expert to make a site that makes money. That's what I got out of reading that book. With High Performance Affiliate Marketing the key part of that book was probably the buy and compare keywords section (just a few pages). Those 2 pages were probably more important to me that the rest of the book. Also a book called power-linking was very helpful as well.
I started with Rich Jerk. Moved on to Affiliate Project X. Then bought Perry Marshalls defenitive guide to adwords. I really liked all three. Probably got the most out of the Perry Marshall Ebook. Cheers, Josh
As far as purchased Aaron Walls SEOBook. But there are many good freebies out there and here if your willing to look but Walls book just kinda puts it all together for the stuff you should know. I like one comment above ... I have to agree. "The best recommendation that you could make would be Make your content pre-sell."
I guess I need to go out and read Aaron Walls SEOBook. I've not read it but the comments above seem convincing. Cheers, Josh
