Best instant messenger software?

Gmessenger...in-built in Gmail !!

cuz, it doesn`t need any specific software client.

 

I'm a simple MSN man. I used to use Trillian, but that was only when I had contacts on MSN/AIM/Yahoo, now they are solely on MSN.

 

Pidgin.

Uses all the IMs, plus also Skype and IRC with SSL.

Destroys Trillian IMO.

 

It is my first time to hear the name of the IM .
The brand IMs I know are msn, icq, yahoo im , aim, gtalk .

 

I use Trillian also and also have aMSN which I use occasionally

Yahoo messenger in m notebook and pc, yamee in my smartphone, because all my old riends using that IM to comunicate each other.

 

I strongly recommend Pidgin, it supports a lot of protocols and it is open-source It is very strong, fast and stable.

You don't even have to have a messenger client downloaded and installed on your PC...... I am loving it !

 

Just downloaded and tested Pidgin!
Not good at all, No support for Video / Audio chat.

Whats the point?
Have uninstalled it now.

I used it since long time and be happy....

i Got Yahoo! Messenger as well.. cause lot my friends and clients use it.. but i have Skype just in case

 

Gtalk is good..but no emoticons,
