One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme Lord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus is untouched by water.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. by "Winston Churchill"
"The more you learn", "The more you earn". Everything will be ok in the end if it is not then it's not an end.
Who quoted "The more you learn, the more you earn."? I remember my Father said that back in the early 1960s but I'm interested in learning where it originated.
Hi Joe It is not necessary to all the quotes created by the experts or the well-known person, it is not the quote but the inspirational words that is why I posted it.
This quote is given by Frank Clark, he was an American Politician and a Lawyer. I search it on Google and found the answers who was given this quote.
I've used that quote often over the years (although worded slightly different). Don't remember where I got it from though. In truth though, I have come to believe that a continuous vacation lifestyle has the potential of creating stagnation of the brain.
That is right from one point of view. But the quotation also says that the person is over stressed both physically and mentally and is therefore asking for a vacation in such a humorous way.
"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." "You must do the things you think you cannot do." and my personal favorite: "If money wouldn't exist, would You still chase the same dream ?"
Another quote which I felt is thought provoking: " If you want to know your character, know how do you treat others when you have everything you want to have and know how do you treat yourself when you have nothing."
