    Hi all,

Can any one suggest best HTML book that I can buy from amazon or some other retail website?

The book I am looking for should be in such a way a beginner can learn and master HTML. Please share your thoughts.

    Thanks
    Luther

u want to learn html only, if design and code beautiful website, u need to combine with css.
and "HTML, which stands for HyperText Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for web pages. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists etc as well as for links, quotes, and other items" from WIKI.

i personally dont think there has such book that teach beginner html first then master html at sedond part.
if for beginner maybe Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML, HTML A Beginner’s Guide,Build Your Own Web Site The Right Way Using HTML & CSS.
after that learn from tutorial from web, better than book

It's free to use Google and ask in forums if you are stuck.
A book dosn't get you closer.
    Search for html tutorial.

I have written an ebook which has been downloaded 200,000 times on download.com (it has the rank number 1 with my other programming ebook being rank number2).

The ebook is called "Web design in 7 days".

I say don't spend a dime on a book! W3 Schools will teach you, for free, everything you need to know...

    HTML: http://www.w3schools.com/html/

    CSS: http://www.w3schools.com/css/

I learnt myself from looking at source and w3schools, I then practiced a LOT before I started making sites commercially, I would not go for a book, online resources (such as w3schools) are often better, for example w3schools has a try-it editor you can just type in your code to see the results.

Yes, use the internet instead of buying a book and from that sense you can save money. Don’t you worry, I believe within a short period of time, you will learn the basics.
