    Dear Friends,

I have 15 domain names that have a total traffic of 50K to the greatest extent. I have two major sites with heavy traffic (one with 15 to 25K and one with 5K+). All the rest have less than 200 uniques each.

I used to host my sites in a dedicated server together with 80 other domains which have 50 - 60K additional traffic. The server used to receive 100K a day. I'm no longer happy with the server and its performance and what to move my sites away to another plan.

Please advise, what would be the best solution for the cheapest? What hosting plan and from which provider can meet my needs for less money. A Reseller, VPS or a Dedicated? What configuration shoult it have the minimum? Please advise.

Here is my current server configuration:
    Quad Core Intel® Xeon X3363, 2.83GHz, 12M - 2 x 4 GB DDR2 RAM - 160 GB SATA2 HDD - 10.000 GB Traffic

    Thanks in advance.

Dedicated is the best way to go imo. If I were you, I'll choose the one that offer managed service as well so I can concentrate more on my site and leave that server things to those hosting guys to handle instead. My selection tip would be try to contact both sales and support of your interested companies and see how fast they can get back and answer all your questions in suitable manners. That is just an initial indicator to separate good out of the bad bunch of careless hosting companies sir.

Less than what? What are you currently paying?

I'm suggesting to use separate server (maybe share the load into 2 servers), because upgrading to a high-end server will cost you more than you can imagine.

What is the current cpu load while you're at your peak traffic?

To be honest, your current server is good enough to handle that amount of traffic, why don't you try to upgrade tot SAS drive with 15k RPM? It will give you a lot of performance boost.
