    Hello, I'd like to know which hosting type (shared, vps, etc.) is best suitable for the Claroline eLearning script (claroline.net), and which provider do you recommend me.

    Here are the requirements:
    Btw, here are more requirements:

    Php version >= 5.2
    MySQL version >= 4.3
    Zlib compression
    Regular expressions
    XML
    mbstring or iconv
    safe_mode = Off
    magic_quotes_runtime = Off
    short_open_tags = Off

    Safe mode Off
    Display errors Off
    Register globals Off
    Magic quotes GPC Off
    File uploads On
    Upload max filesize 8-100M
    Post max size 8-100M

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    This can be easily provided to you by many providers. Can you just tell us what is your budget range and what do you think will be better for you - shared or vps. If the site is new you may start with shared account and then move to vps once you grow enough.

    I believe you have been hosted somewhere before. In this case could you please share with us which web hosting solution you had?

    Whoa I've been hosted in a lot of shared servers. The ones I remember are: hostlatch.net, cdkhosting.co.uk, veio.co.uk. Currently I'm with altushost.com. Also, I have a VPS with LayeredTech.

    Sorry, but your question has nothing to do with the thread, I think.

    Just about any host should be able to provide that. Rackspace has phenomenal support- look into their hosting plans.

    It is for a school. I believe it will have between 500-1300 hits a day at most.
