    diskspace wouldnt be a matter for big dogs.
    But try sharing that huge file after uploading and see if you can reach their BW limit or resource limit ;)

    Godaddy!! i know many will dis-agree, but if you have a site that has decent visitors [under 500 uniques a day] and don't have too many databases, then godaddy will work good for you. If you use too much of cpu usages and ram, then you will be asked for taking up a dedicated server!

    Hostgator is good, but the same thing is true for hostgator also,

    There is nothing as '' the best hosting company ''. You can't satisfy every customer, because there will always be a few guys whom you cannot please in the crowd. Just choose one which has decent uptime, support and provides support for the scripts that you want to use..
