First off let me start out by saying I'm new to this forum so I hope that I'm posting this in the right forum. This is the only one that seemed like it'd fit in this forum. Anyways, I'm interested in Host reselling as a friend pointed it out to me. The best plan (cost wise) I've found so far is > http://www.bizland.com/reseller/pricing.bml But then I'm also talking with the owner of Rogem Networks right now and he's saying to look at his > http://www.rogem.net/ Anyone know the best host reseller for the best space/bandwidth and price?? Thanks
what would you say about this one? dstinternet.com/reseller-web-hosting.html seems pretty good to me.
Personally, I would not host any sites with AT&T, but thats just me. And dont ask why, there is too many reasons!
ok for a start both off these host's are overselling http://www.bizland.com/reseller/pricing.bml dstinternet.com/reseller-web-hosting.html i wouldnt go with any host that over sell's, for a start there is no way they can offer all that space and bandwidth for the prices listed. there is no way they would let you use all that space or bandwidth i could put $10000 on it. this host dstinternet.com/reseller-web-hosting.html has listed unmetered space, for a start there is no such thing. can you really get a unmetered hard drive? no dont think so i would recommend going with a host with good pricing that doesnt oversell and will give you real space and bandwidth and not suspend your account if your using all the resources you purchased. i have used mabushosting.com and hostingdepartment.net in the past and would recommend them to anyone. 99.9% uptime, freindly people, great prices, fast support, doesnt oversell, and is a professional company with a good rep
You need a good reseller account, right? with fast, friendly support, optimum bandwidth and disk space ? If you can pay $25/month, then I'd definitely recommend HostGator. Check some real HostGator Reviews and Coupons by DP users if interested. Trust me, in reseller hosting, the cheaper you look for, the worse service it gets...
No offense to the other users here but: Be careful on whose advice you take. There is nothing more cut throat then the hosting industry therefore, you gotta do your research. Sites like hostgator-review.org exist for one reason, to profit. Much like any business. Would such a site exist if you were allowed to post negative reviews? Simply put, no because they would not be profitable because people would read the bad reviews, and would not signup. How so? Because their site is filled with affilate links hoping you'll signup with them so they can get an affilate payout. Does this go for just hostgator-review.org? Heck no. Most top hosting sites work on the same idea. It's not based on which host is really good, its based on which host will pay the most money to be #1. So be careful on whose advice you buy, and remember you always have friends that you can ask who they use.
Thanks for the advice fellas. I'm still a little bit confused now on where I should really invest my time at. Those dstinternet people were just a bunch of clowns. I opened up a live chat for support and the "rep" wasn't all too friendly or helpful. Then I come to find out THEY OFFER NO SUPPORT whatsoever!? What is that about? Anyways, so I looked at host gator before too along with all from this list: - webhostingstuff.com/searchresults/page1.php?cat=3&cost=0&disk=&data= - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Reseller_Hosting_Services I just wanted to give out free(limited) accounts and place a couple of my ads on their pages (like byehost) and then have paid accounts too. Any more tips and suggestion would be greatly appriciated. -OTA
I would go with the big renown and proven companies, don't be a cheapo when its related to your business. Hostgator is one of the most established webhosting companies on the net so you cant go wrong there or on any other proven company.
I checked out hostgator for some hours and even spoke with customer service, another ass clown. But here's basically the exact thing I'm looking for > ihostdev.com/ipanel.html# . Does anyone know how that works? WIll I still have to buy I reseller account from another company or is that right there my ticket? -Thanks
Thats the software that will help run a free hosting company. You still need to buy the server space/bandwidth.

Considering I lost access to my websites for over a month, and you held one of my domains hostage, ignored requests to restore access to my hosting account, and support is nonexistant, my advice is run away from dstinternet as fast as possible.
