    Hi,

I am running my forum site in Vbulletin + vbseo and getting 5000+ users in a day. At peak time number of concurrent users are 250+. I am currently hosting with hostgator on there VPS hosting plan.

And hostgator facing lots of trouble handling this number of users on there plan, I think they dont support Vbulletin + vbseo properly.

So can you please suggest some good hosting companies who are good for Vbulletin + vbseo, are reasonable good price.

    Thanks in advance experts.

There might also be the proper time to switch to a dedicated server if the forum load is getting too high at this point.
VPS boxes have got their own limitations.

But I will move if i will have no other option.

    Thanks

With 5000+ daily user registrations and 250+ concurrent users, the forum should really be paying off for the hosting expenses.

I think it would be better to choose a higher configuration VPS (also known as semi-dedicated server) if you are not ready to go for a dedicated server as for now.

I am surprised that a VPS isn't able to handle 5000 unique a day.

Even I have a vbulletin forum that has crosses 5000 uniques on some days.

It usually gets only 2000 uniques a day.

I am only using a reseller account (Micfo.com) to host it and I rarely face any problems with it.

(I am not using vbseo, but I have some other plugins installed).

Thanks for your reply I am in process of preparing document for getting help from vbulletin.com
Thanks for te hosting company, but they are asking for lot of money.
The only problem according to Hostgator Server Admins is vbseo, and now I am also thing that this is the problem.
But I also know this that my forum is nothing without vbseo.
So may be I should tune my server for vbulletin + vbseo.

what vbseo features do you think are most useful to you?

there are different plugins available that can individually perform many of vbseo's tasks.

For a larger site, you'd most certainly be better off going with a VPS or dedicated server rather than shared hosting.
