    The Shining 1980 written by Stephen King and acted by Jack Nicholson, has to be there in top of my chart. Also, Ring both part 1 and 2 was really scary.

    People here like One missed call? That movie was the worst rated film on Rottentomatoes. It didn't deserve a 0 but it sucked.. imo*

    Dawn of the Dead (Romero)
    Nosferatu (F.W. Murnau)
    Psycho (Hitchcock)
    The Blair Witch Project (Myrick/Sanchez)
    The Shining (Kubrick)
    The Texas Chainsaw Massacrre (Hooper)

    These are masterpieces. I keep seeing lists here of crappy teen slasher movies, enjoyed by eight year olds.:D
