Anyone had any experience of paid or open source help desk software? Kayako seems to be a popular option, but it aint cheap.
You can try for the AJ Help desk Software which is very good and reliable. It is the best php based help desk software. http://www.ajsquare.com/products/helpdesk-software/index.php
Greetings, Personally I used Kayako on several websites and it works just great. One of our sites has a tickets history since 2005 and its mysql dump is about 800Mb - and kayako helpdesk works just fine! I never used their supportsuite though
Numara Software's Numara Track-It! is a help desk software suite that is available for trial download at www.numarasoftware.co.uk/track-it/help_desk_software.aspx
I never used Kayako, but i think the iKode service desk is quite good, cheap and powerful! I got a Coupon Code: 50OFF, haha. Half price now.
If you want to go with free and open source help desk then go with Trellis Desk from Accord5. You can get demo from http://demo.accord5.com/trellis/ . It is best theme contain free open source helpdesk. We are using same help desk in our 2 companies. As open source OSTICKET is also best because it is older one and traditional theme contained ticketing system. Kayako is best but it is very costly.
We’ve found a cost effective solution for our help desk needs by using FocalScope. We tried their trial first and realized the feature to price ratio is very good. Here’s a link http://www.focalscope.com/product-tour/introduction.html
