Best HD Camera?

    Do you guys the best cost-effective HD camera for shooting a mini webseries? Thanks. I currently use a Sony Cybershot, its not HD but its getting the job done.

    Are you looking for Digital Still Photo Camera or Video Recorder?
    As far as I know, Canon's some of the models in EOS series shoots video in 1080p/720p.

    I also prefer Sony HD cameras.
    You can get one in India in Rs.40K. Thats around $800
    And the video quality is simply superb with 5.1 channel sound recording.
