Best game of 2009

I just graduated from college last winter, but during my last few semesters I was too busy to play many games. I know I missed a lot of awesome games (I still need to play Gears of War II) so I want to know what games you all thought were the best during the previous year (you don't need to stay strictly inside 2009 for the release date, but try to keep your answers close to the time period.)

 

Most anticipated games of 2009 for me:
Mafia II
Metal Gear Solid - Snake Eater
Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising
Red Faction: Guerrilla
X-Men Origins Wolverine

 

for me it was assasins creed 2

 

I would say Dragon Age: Origins (if you're into RPGs). It's a bit simple but very fun to play.

 

Wii Sports Resort has been a top game!

 

Very hard to say, Assassins Creed II is just brilliant

 

Fifa 2010 was the best game of 2009, ironically

Uncharted 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii and Batman AA.

 

i think... the best of 2009 game..is Crysis. because that game won awards for best graphic game of 2009

Best game of 2009 would have to be Left 4 Dead 2. Simply amazing.
