Hello all, Complete newbie with tech stuff. Have a digital movie camera, have saved my kid's soccer camp as an mpeg on the hard drive, and want to burn a playable DVD. Nero's intro has run out, and don't want to fork over $80. Anyone know of a decent freeware burner program that will burn both mpegs, AVI to playable DVD format? Thanks. Paul
Alright, if not freeware, how about paid software - any thoughts on the best value for the money? I have heard some bad things about Roxio. I don't need a film-editor's set of bells and whistles, just something that will allow me to burn from digital video dumped as mpeg or avi onto my computer. Anyone with any thoughts?
Done that, mostly what I am getting are pseudo-reviews from sites that sell dvd burning products. Just hopeful folks here, whom I tend to respect, have had real-world experience with the programs and can provide some insight.
this looks pretty cool: http://protectedsoft.com/ never used it though. right now I am using Cyberlink's "power 2 go" as it was bundled with my dvd burner
