    Please suggest, as i am looking for one with good bandwidth.

    you can try the geocities, it gives the cpannel!!
    godaddy also has an ads supported version, for free! has all the features, but then just the top ads! though not sure anyone can get it or not, perhaps you need some credits or something!

    i don't think any free host will give you the mysql!:rolleyes:

    As a newbie to blogs and webhosting, could you elaborate for me a bit on why you prefer freewebs or godaddy or geocities, etc? What are the best features of each? Thanks!

    Well for blogs you can use wordpress or Blogger.com and for websites you should use geocities.:)
