Hi I think it would be better to have your own domain. Just a suggestion.

You can try to make a good facebook fan page about your blog and promote it to your friends. It'll be easier to go viral with this method. Another technique such as finding related group and add the people as your friends. You can easily promote your blog after that.

 

You forgot to write very good articles, to have the SEO in place (including link building).That's how I got almost 30,000 visitors in 6 months.

If you are having problems may be you should rethink your focus, because it's hard for someone to teach others something that they can't do themselves.

I sort of think it is funny you have a site about something, you cannot achieve.

Pro tip #1 (and the only one you need) start a site about something you can produce good content in, where you know the market... and you will know how to get traffic.

But, i still think article marketing is one the best quick ways to get targetted TRAFFIC ...
SEO is great to work for, but it won't come fast... Building backlinks is more like a strategy ...

Plan well, do an organize effort daily, follow the results and master your skills.

On the other technical hand, I'd prefer SEO for organic search traffic. Its always long term if you can maintain it.

 

Seems like everyone knows almost every other way but its hard to remember all when you are implementing them, nice thread.

There are so many bloggers that work their ass off to only be disappointed at the end. To really make the impact you have to stand out your going to have to have your own domain & hosting. If you don't get those your only waisting your time and talent.

I have to agree that starting a blog in a niche your passionate about is a must. Success doesn't come right away so your going to have to be in it for the long run and that's where you passion keeps you going. Besides if you blow up, you want to blow up for something your passionate about.

Although I agree with Scott, to be taken seriously as a webmaster, web site designer, SEO, etc, you would want to have your own site.

Also, Blogger/blogspot is notorious for taking down blogs. It's your content and you should be able to protect and control the rights of it more by hosting it on your own domain.

There are plenty of good web hosts that offer plans for $4-5 per month. You could easily make that up with referrals and affiliate marketing.

 

Well I know that but i know nothing about keyword research.how can we do that.Do you have any key point to highlight on keyword research?

 

If this is your site you should rething the advertising that takes over the page I tried to close it and go back to the website and it did it again so I gave up, not worth the trouble..

 

People don't visit blogspot anymore unless it is on top of google result..

 

Forums, press releases, social Media, social network, blogging or video marketing Submissions are good linkbuilding methods.

 

Forum posting, blog postings along with social network like twitter, facebook can be of great help in it.
