Best FREE program to develop and test mySql stored procedures

Hello,

I am looking for a free and user friendly program to develop and test mySql stored procedures. I am from msSql background and having a hard time finding something similar to or better then msSql query analyzer.

Navicat, not free. They do have a free 30 day trial though. I don't know of anything else that is even close as far as usability and features go.

 

I use Toad - they have a free version for MySQL
heidisql - is a simple browser - very simple for installation and configuration

 

use xammp or wamp server to execute the sql queries in a browser

you can use toad for mysql, it's free and it's a good tool.
