Best free online portfolio?

I think I have enough stuff now (mostly mascots, logos and cartoon images) to set up an online portfolio, but I have no idea where to start. Cloroflot? Carbonmade?

    Any recommendations?

well, you don't want your portfolio to be to similar to anyone else's, It also depends if you are going for a Gallery type portfolio or a simple samples portfolio with just a handful to give viewers an idea or spectrum of your work. I'm not familiar with the 2 you posted, however I just updated my samples portfolio & went with a Joomla CMS, the reason I did that is because I also have forums / directory / & articles for regular members as well.

You can pretty much design a portfolio from scratch & integrate it into a CMS backbone for easy management on the back end. Again, it depends on what you are going to do with it. You can click on any of my 3 sig links bellow to see what I'm doing now, all three now go to my main site. I ended up blending my community & my design portfolio into one website & redirected my other URL & sub-Domains too it for ease of use.

As you will notice, I'm now going for a more Samples type set up Vs. the Gallery type I did before that basically had hundreds of designs crammed into a flash gallery.

I'm able to target my clients a little easier with the way i went this time, as well as provide them with free online quote forms for convenience.

    good luck! :)

Photobucket might be a good place to start.

If I were you, I would design my own portfolio, and get it coded by a professional coder. That way the customer will see your style and skills. :)

How about a simple index page with PictureFlow to display your latest work?

Carbonmade is pretty nice, haven't used them personally though.
