just stating that its like being mean by puting a "Hosted By" link on their site that they needed hosting for free as they maybe starting out. we have been there and now we are selling hosting.

I'd like you to know, that its just your opinion. My clients and I have a happy relationship. I currently host about 100 sites and talk to most of them on MSN daily. Please do not state I am mean.

don't see how that is flaming another host when im stating my opinion about how i feel when someone says they will host something but then want to brand it with their name all over it. we think its wrong to offer someone something then say it is yours with a "Hosted By" link at the bottom.

just feel that is being mean to someone who needs free hosting.

Maybe someone missunderstanding my request
I don't want a domain for free ( don't think is possible )

But a sub-domain with no advertising
like Geocities etc...

http://zymic.com is good , has mysql but some problems with uptime , not really recommended
