I hav a forum powered by PHPBB3. its very simple to install and run.
By the way, they recently updated to BB3 from v2 so you'll be gettin much more apps.
If you hav some cash thou, i suggest u purchase vBulletin liscence.

i newer find good forums or sites provides free adv, only signature its works fine with me

 

I have always used Godaddy.com and never had much of a problem and it is very cheap - not free, though.
