What is the best type of free forum to use that is also indexed quickly by Google? On average, how long does it take to get posts indexed? Also, is there a pinging service for forums, just as there is for blogs?

    Thanks.

Spamming forums with your signature link isn't the great method to build backlinks, considering signature links aren't valued as high as one-way related backlinks. Many forums also use the nofollow tag with their signature links, which in effect makes the link have no value SEO wise to Google.

Build "related" one-way backlinks is the goal, nothing done easy\fast is done right.

I do agree with that for sure however, you have any methods of doing this that may be of some help to those of use that are weak in that area?

Google seems to be picking up really fast on blog changes recently. To get indexed quickly I'd recommend getting a few do follow links from entries on active blogs.

Unique quality content, why else would someone want to naturally link to your web pages?

well that makes perfect sense for a blog or information site but what about a service site? Or just provide the best possible service you can, and plug away at contacting relevant sites to exchange links and hope you pick up natural one ways?

I think you misunderstood. I'm asking for the best forum to use on my own sites and get indexed quicker. Thanks.

Do you mean a forum platform to "run" a forum on your site?
