Best free forum script, seo optimized for images too

    Hello guys,
    Im trying to figure out what is the best free open source forum (but maybe has paid upgrades)

    I would like it to be seo optimised for images too. Im planning to add a lot of images continuously.

    Please advice,

    I went to vBulletin and i got an impression that its only paid?

    As a popular (free) script im considering phpbb .... maybe you know is it optimises images posted on forum for seo?

    I have used kunena on a joomla built site before whic was really simple to set up, but obviously only relevant if you are on joomla.

    What about a combination WordPress, with Simple Press?

    I don't think you will find a free one (or any one) that is specifically optimized for images, you'll be looking for that forever.
    But at least WordPress is capable and SEO friendly.

    But V-Bulletin is still hands down the best forum software on the market. I wouldn't even consider starting a forum on anything else if I knew ahead of time that I would be wanting to upgrade later. Transferring a forum from one platform to another is a pain in the ass.

    But both SimplePress and BBPress are very capable forum plug ins for WordPress.
