    Try alternate search words in Google and the other SEs, like "forum directory", "forum directories" and add +sports. That should help shorten the results, because what you really need is a directory, not just a list of sites with the term "sports forum" - that can include everything from an actual sports forum to an article that mentions it. Think about the meaning - a forum can be an arena - as in the sports arena or sports colliseum. All those unwanted results will come up, burying what you really want.
