    Hello,

    So I am starting this discussion so everyone can review the best forum software of this year.
    Vote for your best forum software above and also comment on how you feel it is best from others

    I am using xenforo for past 6 months and I think it is one of the best available software. It is fast and has plenty of themes, plugins and much. As you can see it is being used in DP as well, it has a great ACP and more functions.

    I also have used IPB for sometime when testing and think it is good as well.

    Start reviewing now so others can easily choose a forum software for their board.

    All 3 would be better. As when choosing a software one should look the ease for the users at first. Then the mods and owner :)

    You should add burning board to the list, that software has just had a major update and is pretty good
    But I vote for Xenforo first, followed by Invision power board.

    I really like XenForo. From a user's perspective it is very easy to navigate and straight forward.

    From a developer's perspective it is fantastic. Editing templates is so easy and the code is very straight forward unlike IPB's code (their code is all jumbled together). Writing addons is also very easy.

    From an admin's perspective it is, again, fantastic. The admin panel is very easy to navigate. So many features to help manage your forum.

    If you want free SMF is best.

    if you want paid XENFORO, easy to theme, very fast loading. economical when compared to other forum softwares. very less buggy
