Best Forum Platform

    I don't know which is the best section for asking this one,Sorry if i make any wrong.

    My topic: I want to start forum in my custom domain with free hosting.Which is the suitable place for it? I also like to place my ads in the forum.If u know any best platform,tell me.

    If you mean free ones, you can check PHPBB and SMF. There is no "best", it will depends of the needs of each site owner.

    I personally use MyBB forum script is it is quite OK. There are not many options available in MyBB is compared to vBulletin. And the few mods/plugins/addons that are available, they cause different problems when are activated.

    Overall, if you are looking for a simple forum, then MyBB is ok.

    Probably vBulletin or IP Board for the paid ones or for free one I'd say it's deffinatly phpBB ;)
