Forums that is web masters related that I frequently visit are BlackhatSEO forums, Sitemap, and Warrior forums, but Digital Point turned out to be the most resourceful out of them all.
I like V7N http://www.v7n.com/forums/ There are a bunch of search marketing forums here: http://www.webmaster-elements.com/webmaster-forums/seo-forums.htm HTH
Ive recently been looking at sitepoint as an addition to dp, ive not got stuck into sitepoint yet but i like the look of it, huge amount of threads there so il suggest that one.
all the questions answered really good an as additional you can hit this tools to search at which do follow you could post and link back into
the problem with DP is it's full of bloggers and adsenser's.. there's little relevant technical info or advice here. Every post is either 'bookmarks' or 'XML sitemaps' as the answer to everything. I've also used www.searchengineforums.com but whilst being more technical based, its quieter, but there are one or two good posters there who come up with some decent info and arguments.
Sitepoint and V7n both are good for backlinks, but the people here are the best I think the other forums I run into alot of rude people.
Try the programming section of DP, it seems technical enough and seems to have a fair amount of new posts throughout any given week.
