Best Forum Colour

    Hi, I'm thinking of changing my forum colour and would like some feed back. Its for a general discussion forum which includes many topics from news to sports to health to farming etc

    I really have 4 main options

    Dark Green (Current Green)

    Leaf Green

    Night Blue

    Flame Red

    logoflame.png

    Which do you like the best and think would be most suitable?

    Use a color that is pleasant to the eyes - any lighter shade of green should be fine.

    From the above, "Leaf Green" looks best to me.

    Then black and white with shades of gray where needed.

    Color of your forum site depends your own choice. You must be knowing which kind of users come to your site for discussion. The color combination of your site should be attractive and eye catchy. You can try light shades of green, blue or red. It will be a great combination. Make sure that color you choose should not be very dark. It will give negative impact to users.

    Thanks for the feed back everyone. We had some other feed back that the current colour is too "Army Like". Green does give the forum a relaxing feel. The Blue looks very clean for a forum and I like the red but it may make the forum feel too "hot" for a general discussion forum
