Best form of Emailing?

    I have noticed that everyone uses text as their newsletter emailing system. Is this the best way to send messages or is HTML acceptable too?

    I NEVER open html emails. I Never will. Too much risk for viruses.

    I can tell you from statistics that most people DO open HTML e-mails.
