Best form of advertising

I have been marketing for over 10 years and I have made 1000's over the years. I often get asked what is the best way to advertise a website.

Well if I had one option to choose from I would always choose ezine articles.

Had you said ads, I would agree.

And, no, you are not often asked what is the best way.

 

Disagree totally. From 7000 views my site visited 3 people.

I have absolutely no idea what you are saving. Extremely poor engwosh.

 

Not sure who you have been marketing to, typically a message like this would be followed by an affiliate link. Ezine is definitely not the god of all traffic/links, etc.

I find Ezine article is good for targeted traffic.

 

I would have to say e-zine solo ads are the most effective if done correctly.

 

I've written only a handful of articles and they get some visits initially, no huge flood though.

Perhaps the trick, which I've yet to master, is a really compelling resource box and a damn good 'how to' article which people will want to use on their own blogs and newsletters?

 

Yes it does add up but you have to write good articles and submit them correctly that is the key.

People, people, you can't see the forest from the trees. The best form of advertising is not article marketing, but good 'ol Adwords! Unfortunately, another cliche applies as well. "It takes money to make money" Adwords still has the best ROI.

I know somebody's gonna tell me article marketing is free! Well, 'nothin from 'nothin is still 'nothin.

 

Ya, Ezine Articles is terrible. That site doesn't get too many hits, then they search through a ton of articles. I mean, it's good for it's purpose of free, low-quality hits, but other methods are much better.

 

Rubbish have you actually tried Adwords lately. You set yourself a daily budget and all that happens is your competition just clicks on your adverts and use your budget up. How much have you made "zero"

LOL! Judging by your response, sounds like you've been the victim of click fraud.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do. May I make one more suggestion? Maybe you should run around your neighborhood and spam your articles to the lightpoles? Of course it wouldn't be completely free. You would somehow have to come up with enough money to for the paper and, judging by your demeanor,
you don't seem to happy in your current situation so I doubt you could afford even that. Oh well, just a thought...

 

That way you can't get many views or traffic, but you can at least get targeted traffic.

 

ezine articles is good but your articles still need to get distributed to many article directores to get good traffic from

but for this to work, you better really have that great idea in place, or visitors will be disappointed, and thus NOT spread the word.
