I have noticed that most of the designers do not pay any attention towards footer designing and put all unnecessary information at the bottom of the page. These are some nice footers...

I know for me, footers are usually an afterthought. I spend a lot of time designing headers and the rest of that page, and by the time i get down to the footer I'm no longer feeling as creative and just end up doing something simple.

Web 2.0 footers like these are very nice touches that really enhance user experience, but I don't think they provide very much practical use beyond that.

I've visited your link and the footers there are not really different from what I see in most websites. The simpler the website, the simpler the footer. In corporate websites it's more common for the footer to be better designed because of the money put in to building the website.

I'd really like to see some thing new and exciting in the footer designs.

 

Footers are really nice designs. However, customers generally don't order only footer designs. Footers are designs along with other graphics of the web page.

 

Footer is very important and you can use it for example to show Testimonials.
