Romania is replacing the old Migs.
The choices are: second hand F16, Eurofighter, and Grippen.
Little suspense - the F16 will probably be the winner.

 

How about B2? at 2 billion $ a piece it has to be good

 

It is good!! Overpriced, but good.

Way ahead of its time, scary alien design, impressive loadout and outstanding performance. B2 Spirit is no doubt one of the best bombers out there, probably the best.

 

F-16 is still in production. Buy some new ones.

Even a mirage can beat B2 in dogfight. Overall Sukhoi-Su-47 is great

Northrop are good at revisiting aerodynamic designs from the past they
sure know how to copy and improve. As much as we hated them during WW2
the Germans were the pioneers of modern space travel and military aircraft!

yep before the war was over they had test flights with jet planes, imagine if they could use them earlier in the war....

 

I'm happy to be alive today due to nazis failing to complete the A-bomb,
for if they succeed during the war I think they would of launched V2's
with A-bomb payload's and wiped England of the map Hate to know
what else they would of done, Thank Christ for the Manhattan project!
I'm happy they didn't invent the V3 either!

Fighter aircraft generally relates to all combat aircraft. If this is for fighter only then most of the ones mentioned here are multirole aircraft not pure fighters.

 

There is a difference between multi role combat aircraft and a bomber.
Mirage is a Multi role combat air craft, and B2 is a stealth bomber, so obviously even Mig 21 can beat it in a 'Dog Fight'.

Comparing B2 with Mirage is like comparing computer with bicycle...

"Hey dude, no matter how fast your computer is, but I bet my bicycle will beat it in the race to next block.."

Thats what I said by "Depends on use". I compared Mirage and B-2 to say that they cannot be compared. Why are you teaching me what I already said???
