Just thought Id share this because I think its funny.

Im currently on a 6 month deployment in the US Navy so Im jumping around from country to country.

So I had to pay someone some paypal today. Now I am in a country that the keyboard in my hotel is different then Im used to. I notice the special characters associated with the numbers are different then I am used to.

So I go to log into Paypal and its not liking my password. So after about 20 minutes I realize my password uses special characters associated with the numbers and its saying that its a wrong password so I cant log in and pay the man.

Due to that I am forced to send an email to him giving the best excuse ever on why I cant pay. Reason being is my keyboard is all funky so I dont remember my password due to only remembering what the special characters are by knowing the number.

Well just had to share that incase anyone ever gives you that excuse, it is possible!! :)

Be careful with logging into PP from another country. I know somebody whose account was closed because of that, even though he explained to them that it was him.

    That's nasty!
I've had the same problem. A friend of mine had a laptop whose keyboard was in Danish.
I had to go to a wireless hotspot to do the job :)

Ya, sounds funny but quite possible. Hope someone doesn't face any serious consequences because of this! ;)

This is why I keep a spare wired keyboard near my computer. Also usually have spare batteries, just can't usually be bothered to go get them.
