Best Email Software?

I am in a search for the best email software to email my userbase on several of my forums, a monthly newsletter in html format. The things I would like to be able to do with the software are email thousands relatively quickly, have a simple interface, handle html emails, track opened emails, utilize an opt out feature, handle multiple usergroups (mailing lists), and be able to send out 100,000 or more emails at a time. Any ideas or recommendations?

I use phpLists, not perfect if safe_mode is on but it's ok

If you are happy to pay then Miro's Oi looks promising, and canbe self hosted.

BTW: Garland, when you have 10 posts you can add a signature, until then it might pay just to sign off with your name.
