Best eCommerce Store (CRE, Drupal eCommerce....)

I've done a few stores for clients in CRE Loaded (B2B and Pro) but I've found that CRE and a ton of other distributions of osCommerce are TERRIBLE from a coders standpoint. Oh yeah, and by terrible I mean HORRIBLE!

I have recently been looking at the ecommerce module for Drupal and that looks promising but I wanted to get some more feedback. I don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars but if I do I want something well written.

Has anyone here built stores using that Drupal module? How was it? Any other recommendations?

    Thanks!

    There are many good ones.

    Cube Cart
    Zen Cart

Check your fantastico if you have it. I know there is 1 more in there that will auto install for you.

Isn't Zen Cart just another distribution of osCommerce? Did they do a better job with it?

    Thanks for the input!

Same as last poster, anyone used Magento with over 1000 products? Does it get server hungry/slow/need expensive dedicated hosting?

I think more people are opting for Ubercart over the ecommerce module for Drupal... ubercart+Drupal make for a very nice ecom setup.

Ubercart seems to be more favored in the Drupal community. Has a strong community, lots of peer support. Might be worth a look.

+1, ubercart model have more users,
remember it's not only popularity - but when u'll have an issue, it'll be more easy to solve it when around plenty of guys, who use the same thing.
