Hey so I have a network of 9 or so websites and want to integrate them all onto one cart system, we need something that we can integrate with our OMS (order management sys) and that will generate quotes for shipping based on weight and cubic... also needs to have product options and cater for up to 6000 products

We talked to magento, and they quoted $30,000 for this..

Is there any cheaper options, better cart systems, prestashop? whats your suggestions, any help is welcome

Have you looked into Magento? They used by companies like Lenovo, Vizio, and Office Max. There is an enterprise version and also a very capable community developed edition that is absolutely free if you're self hosting. Hope this helps.

I'd recommend Magento. It's easier to handle for e-commerce sites.

Magento is the best one you can go with. I guess you are concern about pricing. If pricing takes a part then Magento Online Store suits you as per your need.
