Can't agree more. I have chase high paying niches and lost interest soon... you have to enjoy online mktg else it is boring at times. And you have to be patient. I'd suggest take top three interests/hobbies of yours and see how you can make money around those. You will be a lot more successful that way.
I disagree completely. Start with a niche that you have a passion for yourself. If you like Toyota Camary's maybe thats a goo place to start. If your favorite travel destination is Italy, try that out. The reason is if you start in a niche you enjoy, the content will and building side of things will be far more easier than pharmaceuticals or asbestos lawyers -Tim
Yup, I, too strongly disagree with that. What happens when your so-called high-paying niche is no longer the high-paying one? Start looking for another? Repeat the process? Sure, there is a limitless wealth of material that you can steal to put on your newfound high-paying niche site but you'll soon be a jack-of-no-trades-and-master-of-even-fewer. Not to mention earning the enmity of those of us trying to put out decent, new, material.
Personally I would start a blog (I actually now prefer blogs over web sites) about something that I care about. As the others say if you write about a topic jut because it is the highest paying niche then you will lose interest and won't want to write so often. Another thing, if someone has a niche that pays well they are not going to publicise the niche, they will want to keep it as quiet as possible. Of course you could do what a lot of people do and post up 100 blogs about Mesothelioma.
