This question gets asked a lot. Personally, after using a handful of carts (Zen, osCommerce, CubeCart, Volusion, Quantum), I now use Pinnacle Cart and will stick with it. It has been the best for me. I have seen both good and harsh feedback about any ecommerce software I have ever taken a look at. A lot depends on what your needs are. You will probably never find a cart that has absolutely everything you need or want. You should sit down and list all of your needs. Some general considerations should include the following, but within each category, there are going to be many variables for you. Price Own or "rent" What are you selling? How are you selling it? Categories & Products setup Users & Orders setup Manage Emails setup Manage Admins Cart Settings Shipping setup Payment setup Reports Marketing Try Googling "what to consider when purchasing ecommerce software" Be careful when someone tells you "the best". They usually mean very well, but usually the cart they advise is the one that is best for them. You should pick your cart only after you do your own homework. Jim
Its depend on the requirement of your site. For me easystorecreator.com is the best coz its user friendly.

OsCommerce is the best script that there is out there. You can find plenty of mods and skins for osCommerce.
Check Zeuscart this is best shopping cart software. It's offer more advanced features like Unlimited number of categories and products, advanced inventory control management, multi currency system, SEO Friendly and Fast Web Based Installation ect., They provide good support also...
Oscommerce, zencart, cubecart, magento, all have good feedback. If you've any special requirement you can even check few paid service.
The problems with OSCommerce center on not staying current with MySql (e.g. 5.x). We switched to Magento and rose in the search rankings almost immediately. We also have many options that were very difficult in OSCommerce. I would strongly suggest checking out Magento. If you need a coder *plug* check out NeoNexus Corp. They have been very good to me and several others that I know.
Digitalxsteam is your one stop online source for complete e-commerce business solutions that provide all types of e-business solutions with satisfaction.
Actinic Catalog all the way! It is not cheap but once you get a grip, you start saving so much time and energy that you forget about the price. You can download a trial version to see if it is something you like. http://www.actinic.com/contact/Register.php4 Don't forget that you can build non-commerce sites with Actinic too. I've built many shops for myself and clients using Actinic! If you want something basic and free with few products and few features, get a copy of Wordpress and test the eShop plugin.
Regretfully, the Magento work by NeoNexus Corp. that was to be done for us was never completed as originally agreed to in writing. We chose to close down the project a go a different route after months of frustration. The funny part is that NeoNexus Corp. continues to state online how they have never lost a web client. We are certainly one they lost!
