Best DVD writer

    which is the best dvd writers now a days,as after1 year it starts to create problems ,either reading or writing cd or dvd, I used lg,philips,asus. all are same.have any idea regarding dvd writers.

    i know many people using philips for long time.
    so i think its reliable.

    most common are ASUS, LG and SONY

    I would say best one is ASUS

    Sony is the best. I have been using it for last 6 years no problem yet. But always use CD lens cleaner (dry or wet type) to clean the lens of the dvd writer which can increase it's life and work life long.

    You should purchase the Sony one. :)

    i prefer LG GSA H55N

    i have been using it for a while now and its better than my earlier Asus Drive.

    Never had a problem with a Sony. If I was going to buy a new one now, I'd get a Blu-ray burner. Wave of the future and they are under $200 now.
