Can people give suggestions on what the best DVD +-R Drive is. I need a new one as my old one fails too often at high speeds.

I mostly burn high amounts of data and the occasional movie (Just a backup if I don't get a chance to watch it).

This will probably go into a Dell Dimension 8300 (If model even matters these days)

Extra green rep if you either provide a product link to ebay.co.uk or komplett.ie

    Budget Up to £100 (€150)

    Cheers

Lite-on is a good option. I have an iOmega external DVD writer. It rules (is costly though).

Ill probably go for the 4570

The fact that I was replacing an NEC (ND-1100A) was the only thing that put me off because its so bad but I imagine its just cause its cheap (Its only a + for Gods sake)

    Its between these three

I am using a Sony 16X +/- RW Drive right now, i am very much satsified with it.

But, i think Sony DVD Drives are not that popular in US reigon. Most of my firends there have LiteOn drives and they are happy with them as well.
