Best Downloads Management system/script

Hello. I have a popular downloads site at downloads.littlbuger.info

I currently use the full paid version of the script RW Download. It's been working great for a long time, but updates are very slow and it's not fully W3C compliant ( also still uses many tables and whatnot instead of divs, etc. ). I'm looking for a good downloads script that can handle mass uploads, hopefully handle storing files outside the public_html folder, and is fully W3C compliant. One free one that I've found that comes very close is PHCDownload. Does anyone know of any others, free or commercial? Thanks.

Not sure if you're just looking for html compliance or for functionality improvement, if it's the HTML then I can assist with the adjustments, otherwise tru out EzyPal, a nice downloads manager. Supports Paypal only though. I use it for one of my sites and it offer downloads based on license keys, sort of attractive.

Well, my downloads are all freeware/shareware and thus they are available to everyone at no cost. But I'll check it out. I'm not sure you'd have the time to go through the entire script to see what needs to be changed or not, but thanks for the offer. :)

    Any others?

Ok, for freebie downloads, you could try Joomla + Remository or Joomla + Docman extension...

Well, I'm not entirely sure I need a full featured CMS solution either, just mainly a downloads management system. But I will check those out nevertheless. Thanks. :)

Thank you for the suggestion. I can't actually seem to find a download of that software though. I see sites that say they have it, but no real download for it. Do you know where to get it? Thanks. :)
