Best download accelerator

    I am having internet connection with the speed of 256 KB/Sec. My download speed is very low, it is giving 25 KB/Sec while downloading.

    I am not using any download accelerator. What is the best download accelerator for increasing my download speed.

    How much it will increase ???????

    anyway try IDM . u could reach 30kb/sec

    try the DownThemAll plugin for mozilla firefox. got nice speed depending on the server.

    I use DownThemAll! Clean interface, does everything any other download manager can do (minus the extra 'features' that nobody ever uses), and, well it's open source :)

    Your max download speed is 256/8 KB/s = 32KB/s
    So thats the maximum your speed will reach as your service provider has limited it to that, no program can increase your speed more than the limit.
    If you do want the extra 5-6KB/s then use Flashget[recommended] and download.

    IDM is the best for me...but if your connection speed is 256 kbps and you got 25 kb/s, it's already good...even download accelerator won't give you significant speed improvement...

    I've used Flashget, DAP, GetRight, DownthemAll, IDM etc and I would say IDM is the best among them..
