Best domain registrars, namecheap vs netfirms vs?

Hi there, I'm looking to get a new (better) registrar, right now I use web.com. I have asked around and it sounds like namecheap is really good. however, today I came across netfirms.com and they sound pretty nice as well. does anyone have some input regarding these two, or perhaps another contender? I Really like namecheap's admin controls and their customer services sounds responsive. However, netfirms gives free privacy protection with any domain. That sounds great, and it is something I use all the time. Any thoughts? thanks.

If you use the privacy feature on all your domains that could be a big savings if you are domainer. However, if you are wanting to sell domains, having your contact information readily available can be a benefit. You may think about what you will be using the registrar for and then make a logical decision based on what you come up with.

Maybe check out godaddy.com. They are a great registrar.

namecheap is my baby. I used godaddy.com and the UI is a bit confusing and the spammed me and I used yahoo. Yahoo has a user friendly UI but you may have problems if you decide to transfer

I certainly want a great UI with the ability to change everything myself without having to call them. my current registrar, web.com, has an awful admin section and I can hardly do anything there without having to call them.

I'm not a domain collector or seller, I just use it for registering client domains, and for my own projects, which I have a few coming up and will need to register new domains for. I'm still really leaning towards namecheap. I was hoping someone here might have experience with netfirms, so I can get a good comparison.

I would say go for NC coz they did give out free private whois too for every domain.
Plus they will free you a SSL.

Oh hey I didn't notice that on namecheap, the do give free whoisguard for new domains or transfers. that's cool, I should just use them and be done with it, lol.
