    Hi,

I've been using GoDaddy for registering domains for a while. But it seems like they have increased their prices, and there are other cheap registrars like name.com.

    What do you think?

Just a heads up though. Domain prices in the registry level has increased. Thus, domain registration providers has to increase the prices a bit as well.

Namecheap is probably the best and the easiest. Even novice online marketers are turned on to it and find it much easier to deal with.

I'd strongly suggest, NameCheap. I tried GoDaddy and 1&1 but finally settled with NameCheap. They prices are affordable, very good user interface and top notch support. It made my life a lot earlier.

I'm currently using both Godaddy and Namecheap, I have domains on both registrars and I see that they're all good and world class worthy :)

I have used HostGator, Namecheap and BigRock for domain registration, and very happy with all, especially their dedicated customer support.

There are different domain registrars that allow you to register the domain name you want but when you want to register your domain you have to check the TOS of the domain registrar for any hidden conditions etc.

I really like namecheap.com, a great deal compared to GoDaddy normally. However GoDaddy do have a special offer on at the moment for .com and .co.uk domains, buy the first year for a nominal sum and purchase a second year at full price. So you get two years at a great rate

    My vote goes to GoDaddy.

Their domain search is the best, which is important to me as I handreg a lot of domains, and I feel I might be missing out on some suggestions with other registrars. There's often a good discount, they got Auctions, and last but not least I really like the overall design.

GoDaddy is my starting point, and then I transfer the domain elsewhere, wherever the renewal price for .com, .io, .us or whatever is the lowest.

Godaddy is now rare to get the renewal coupons. I know that there 2 ways to get the bulk discount when you need to renewal your domains and hosting at Godaddy. That is:
    1. Join Godaddy Discount Domain Club
    2. Change your local currency to INR currency when checking out.
You can read the detail here
    Hope this helps.
